Ultrasonographic assessment of rheumatoid arthritis: A systematic review.

Objective: To evaluate the reliability of ultrasound for detection rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Study Design: Systematic Review. Setting: The University Lahore. Period: 2001 to 2021. Material & Methods: A systematic exploration literature was achieved by collecting articles related our topic. Articles reporting result assessment ultrasonography were included in this study. Exclusion criteria large joints including shoulder and knees as well that which not sufficient information sensitivity specificity US regarding RA. These provided an online source PubMed, google scholar, research gate, Embase, Wiley library, BMJ Journal, AJR, Springer, Elesvier link. Results: Results shows gray-scale synovitis ranged from 50% 90.9% 47.4% 100% respectively, Power Doppler evaluation hypervascularity 60% 98% 21% 92% assess bone erosion patients 69% 98.7% 35.9% 83% respectively. Conclusion: This review concluded is a vital diagnostic tool compared X-ray, CT, MRI, clinical laboratory examination erosion, synovitis, synovial hypervascularity.
